Do you ship outside the United States?

How will I get access to my digital pattern?

Digital downloads are available immediately after purchase. You will also receive an email with your downloadable assets included. If you do not get an email within a few minutes, please check your spam filter for an email from Jittery Wings. 

When and how do you ship physical items?

All other products ship from the shop within 48 business days of order using USPS which provides a tracking number. You will receive a confirmation email when your items ship that will include a tracking number.

What is your preorder policy?

Please do not order preorder items with in stock items. It really alters the shipping system and since we are small this is a huge help. 

Jittery Wings Quilt Co. offers preorders for fabrics we believe will be much anticipated by our lovely customers. You can find these fabrics and collection under Shop\Pre-Orders tab on the main menu. 

Preorders are like reservations. You prepay to guarantee you get a cut. We will ship all pre-orders immediately after receiving the fabric from the manufacturer. These dates are estimated not guaranteed, but we will keep you posted my e-news, email, and on the product description. There will be times when a manufacturer experiences a delay or misships. Please understand that this is out of our control. If there is a problem with your pre-order, we will contact you immediately to keep you current on the status. 

All pre-order sales are final and may not be altered, canceled, traded or combined with other orders. 

How do I know I am ordering the right amount?

We offer exclusive fat quarter bundles curated right here at Jittery Wings. These bundles are available in fat quarter cuts or in yardage, while supplies last. Ordering bundles works like ordering single cuts of fabric or fat quarters as listed below, except you will get the ordered amount for ALL fabrics pictured in the bundle. 

ORDERING YARDAGE OF A SINGLE FABRIC:

Order yardage by selecting "1/4 Yard Cut" and entering a quantity of quarter yards using the + or - buttons. A quarter yard measures 9" x 43/44″ depending on the manufacturer. We cut in one continuous piece.  A quantity of:

1 = .25 yard2 = .5 yard3 = .75 yard4 = 1 yard5 = 1.25 yardsand so on...ORDERING A SINGLE FAT QUARTER:

fat quarter (pre-cut) measures 18" x 21/22" depending on the manufacturer. Fat quarters are the result of quartering a single yard of fabric. We love fat quarters around here - and most of our Jittery Wings patterns are fat quarter friendly. If you order two fat quarters, you will receive two separately cut pieces of fabric.

When will you charge my credit card?

Credit cards are charged immediately after your order is accepted and processed by the system. This is also true for preorders and digital downloads.

How do I cancel my order?

Jittery Wings cannot refund/cancel orders that have already been cut.  If you decide you still need to cancel after we have cut your order, we will refund your order minus a 20% restocking fee to cover the cost of our time to cut, package, and inventory the order and for the loose yardage left over in our inventory.  While we hope that you never need to cancel, we understand that circumstances arise that require a cancelation.  Please note that all fabric sales through Jittery Wings are final.  However, if you catch us before we cut your order, we will cancel/refund your order.  Please use the contact for here on the website to alert us immediately upon deciding to cancel.

How can I learn about a sale?

We love this question. We have a newsletter. You can sign up at the bottom of any page on the website. We respect your time and inbox and only send news for new products, sales, quilt alongs and shop updates.

How do I return my fabric order?

Oh no! It is not happy that you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase. All fabric sales are final with Jittery Wings. If we made a mistake with your fabric cut (wrong fabric or not enough) or if the fabric is flawed from the manufacturer, please email right away using the contact tab here on the website to work out options. While we recognize that with places like Amazon, everything is returnable, we are a super duper small family business. Due to the nature of being an online shop, we recognize that presents challenges for determining to buy. Our goal is to give you all the information on the front end so a return will not be necessary. Here is how we do that:

We recognize that your aren’t able to hold and feel the fabric. We order only top of the line, high thread count fabrics. We strive to choose only the fabrics that work best with quilting. We have personally combined all the fabric brands we carry in quilts and they work well together.

We recognize that computer screens vary. We take photos only in natural light to ensure our photos represent the fabric colors well. We also curate our bundles so you can be assured the colors work well together.

Washing instructions are included on each description. These are directly from the manufacturer. If fabric has been damaged due to incorrect laundering, we will not be able to accept its return as a flaw.

How do I correct a mistake in my order?

If a mistake has been made in your order, please know we sincerely apologize!  Please contact us using the form on the website and let us know what the issue is within 14 days of the order being placed.  We will do everything in our power to correct the mistake. Please note that if we are out of stock on a particular item at the time of return, we will not be able to fulfill the original order.

How do I return my PDF pattern download?

How should I care for my fabric?

CARING FOR YOUR NEW %100 COTTON FABRICS

For the best results, we recommend hand washing your new 100% cotton fabric with mild, bleach-free detergent, and hanging it to dry. If machine washing is your preferred method, we strongly recommend washing in cold water with like colors on gentle cycle using a mild, bleach-free detergent. Dry on low-heat tumble setting to minimize shrinkage. We do not recommend washing fat quarters in the machine as the edges will frey and you will lose inches and have a tangled mess.

Are the colors on my computer screen accurate?

When possible, we use the professional product image from the manufacturer. These are very accurate, however, with that said, all computer screens vary. The level of brightness you have set on your personal monitor can alter the color of the image. We do our very best to take photos in natural light and edit for greater accuracy.

How wide is the fabric you carry?

The standard width of fabric from the manufacturers we carry is 43/44" from selvage to selvage. This includes the selvage.

Are you still shipping during COVID?

Yep, we sure are shipping. We are a small, family business and we will continue to cut and ship orders during this time. You may experience delays in shipping due to the stress on the USPS, but this is outside of our control.
