The Crooked Christmas Tree Paper Piecing Pattern makes a finished 17″ x 17″ mini quilt for a wall hanging. It only takes a half yard of three different fabrics, and goes together very quickly. This amount of fabric will make the entire mini, piecing, backing and binding. I used the color for the star and trunk as the backing. I used the color for the tree as the binding. You will need to know the basics of paper piecing to complete this pattern, but it is a fun and easy pattern for the novice to expert paper piecer. Just take a little class or watch some tutorials. The pattern pieces include the 1/4″ seam allowances.
The Crooked Snowman is a whimsical little foundation paper piecing pattern that will bring delight to your sewing room. Included reprintable paper pattern for foundation paper piecing, instructions for piecing the pattern and directions for turning the block into a simple zip pouch if desired. The block may be used in all sorts of patterns. Making a pouch is not required.
The finished block will measure 8″ when incorporated into a quilt or pouch with 1/4″ seams.
Knowledge of paper piecing necessary to complete this block, but do not fear it!
