The Candy Corn Block makes a super sweet and easy Halloween bag! Your little tricker-treater will LOVE it!

NOTE: The image here is for a Basic Tote Bag. There is a free pattern for that pattern on the blog here. The pattern you purchase will be for a zipper pouch like all the other pouch of the month patterns.

This little foundation paper piecing pattern that will bring give you a cut bag to hold all things domestic. Includes re-printable paper pattern for foundation paper piecing, instructions for piecing the pattern and directions for turning the block into a simple zip pouch if desired. The block may be used in all sorts of patterns. Making a pouch is not required.

The finished block will measure 8″ when incorporated into a quilt or pouch with 1/4″ seams.

Material Requirements

• 12” or longer zipper
• 1/2 yard Exterior “background” or bag fabric
• 1/2 yard lining fabric
• 1 yard Pellon SF101 Shapeflex
• large scraps for the candy corns
• embellishments (optional)
