Davenport Knitsack Sewing Pattern - FREE PDF Download

This is a FREE & simple pattern from Jittery Wings. I wasn’t planning to make this a pattern. I made this bag quickly the night before vacation to carry my knitting. I received so many requests for the pattern, I decided to write it up for my blog. I made some changes to how I would make the next one and those changes are reflected in the pattern. It isn’t as detailed as my other patterns because I didn’t go into it thinking I would write the pattern, which is why it is free and there are no progress photos.

MATERIALS NEEDED

- Fabric for the external main area (top of bag): ½ Yard

- Fabric for external contract fabric (bottom of bag): ¼ Yard

- Fabric for lining (inside of bag): ¼ Yard

- Pellon Shape Flex SF101 Fusible 20” Wide: 1 yard

- Pellon Fusible Thermolam Plus TP971F 45” Wide: ½ Yard

- Small Twist Lock hardware: 1 Needed

o If you prefer a magnetic snap, you can use that and adjust Steps 9-13.
